Happy Valentine's Day, lovers and friends. How did you spend your day or your night? I can usually take or leave Valentine's Day, but as I mentioned last week, I've had my mind set on good food and a romantic atmosphere for a while now. I knew I'd been wanting to go to Metacom Kitchen, a local restaurant I found via Instagram, for ages it feels, but it was a done deal when I saw their prix fixe Valentine's Day menu. And if you're wondering, I decided to go with the carrot lavash then roasted duck breast, finishing with some amazing creme brulee (can you tell I was not disappointed?)
Aside from a great Galentine's dinner, I was so excited to wear this beautiful organza puff sleeve top from Femme Luxe. I talk extensively about how universal good jeans and a tee shirt are style-wise, but as I also mentioned recently, there's nothing like a stand out piece which you don't have to think twice about--you know immediately that it's love at first sight. Like, "that is the statement I want to make"; and that's what this top did for me.
I styled three more Femme Luxe pieces in my most recent IGTV video to share some V-Day outfit inspo, but I'm definitely trying to wear these looks for a regular date night sometime soon. This emerald green slinky dress I chose from their bodycon dresses collection is my fave! It seems so simple from the front but the super low back is such a killer look!
What I'm Wearing
