What To Wear Inside

I'm thankful to say it's been a peacefully quiet day for me, friends. Massachusetts, like much of the country and world, really, is in a declared state of emergency throughout at least early April. I'm sure it's not news to anyone reading this that things are pretty...weird. Uncertain, uncomfortable at the least. So in the interest of not dwelling further than the change I'm able to effect, I've been taking advantage of unscheduled down time by striking a few things from my to do list.
Today, for example, I got around to uploading some new items from my closet to Depop -- click here to check those out (which helps me out). That was a result of another done "to do", which was the closet purge and organizing I mentioned in my last post.

Sharing these jeans here was in fact a far more exciting strike from another (far more dedicated) to do list, which is my blog post planner.
I bought them a couple weeks ago, immediately upon seeing Monroe Steele of Fashion Steele NYC share a similar pair to her Instagram story -- a wonderfully baggy double-waisted dupe for her amazing Y Project jeans. Those had sold out in my size but I luckily nabbed these pair (I went a full size down for a US 2/UK 6, by the by).
I've thought of a million ways I'll be styling these jeans already but today's post felt right to keep it simple. It was such an effortless match to pair them with these gorgeous, emerald green faux croc pumps from Lulus and minimal silver jewelry -- don't call me out if you see me outfit repeat!

What I'm Wearing
