St. Croix Photo Diary II • 11/24-11/27

Good morning, readers. Now, I have to admit that that greeting is a little bit of a lie. As I type this it's in fact the night before I'll post it, and it is therefore not morning. But alas, since I'm picturing myself typing this after the massage I have scheduled for the morning, even more relaxed and clear-headed, I figured I'd just go with the vision, right?

So here I am in St. Croix, USVI, once again. The last time I visited was 2013--which I blogged about here and here--and I've truly been due for a return. The stresses of every day life, like work, bills, and straight-up New England style fall and winter season can really get to a girl, ya know? Aside from that, my father has relocated to St. Croix, so this visit became the perfect combination of spending the holiday(s) with those you love and a much-needed getaway.

We packed in a lot into these few days. Between meeting family I didn't know, eating all the delicious food I could get my hands on, snorkeling through a coral reef, swimming on a few shores, and getting far more than my share of mosquito bites...I'd say it was a great trip.
